Collection: End of life Audios - Short Stories Library

End of life audios A Collection of Short Stories from

Our short stories are called Charming Folktales. That is to say, they have an old-world quality, combining elements of magic, wisdom, and reassurance. These are the sort of stories that might be passed down through generations and evoke a sense of nostalgia, reassurance, and comfort in the listener.

They are designed for short, easy listening.  All recordings in this library have backing music.   A collection of these Short stories without music will be added shortly.

Hearing is widely thought to be the last sense to go in the dying process. Now, UBC (University of British Columbia) researchers have evidence that some people may still be able to hear while in an unresponsive state at the end of their life.

This research, published recently in Scientific Reports, is the first to investigate hearing in humans when they are close to death. (See full article  on our links page). We believe this is another validation for our work in this area.

Therefore, offer these end of life audios, as an additional resource.
